Stress can indeed make you itch.

When you're stressed out your nervous system is affected by the stress and that is the reason the stress causes itching.

It's normal to feel itchy when you're stressed and when you're not stressed the itching goes away.

When you're stressed and the stress affects your nervous system the stress not only causes skin itching but the stress can also cause a burning sensation on your skin.

Stress is never good for you though so you should do your best to avoid being stressed when possible because stress raises your blood pressure which can lead to heart attacks, strokes, heart disease and an early death.

It's hard to stop being stressed fully but try to relax and even take a good long walk which is also great for your health.
