Hookworms are eventually passed out of your body through your poop.

If you look closely enough in the human poop you can see the hookworms that are in the poop if they come out through your poop.

Hookworms can be contagious from one human to another if you touch the person who has hookworms.

However most people who get hookworms get the hookworms by walking barefoot on beaches and other contaminated soil.

Hookworm can also be transmitted and cause infection in people through ingesting of the larvae.

It's usually not a bad thing to be around people who have hookworms and as long as you're careful you're unlikely to become infected with hookworm yourself just because you're near someone.

If you get treatment and take medicine for getting rid of the hookworms the hookworms usually start going away within 7 days but can last as long as 14 days.

If you do not take medicine to get rid of the hookworms it can take 5 to 7 weeks to see the hookworms go away on their own.

In most cases hookworms do eventually leave your body and go away on their own even without treatment but It's much better to see a doctor and get medicine to get rid of the hookworms much faster.

When you take the medicine for the hookworms the hookworms should go away within 7 to 14 days once you start taking the medicine.

People with hookworms who are treated with albendazole once a day for 3 to 7 days see the hookworms go away within that time but sometimes it may take up to 14 days.
