The USPS works regular business hours and does not deliver mail or packages after 8:00 PM.
Whenever your local post office closes that's when the USPS stops delivering the packages and usually well before then.
Most packages and mail through USPS are delivered by 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and usually the businesses get their mail delivered earlier than residential addresses.
So for example the post office in my area closes at 5:00 PM and the mail is delivered to addresses and mailboxes at the USPS by 3:00 PM
The mail at homes is usually delivered around 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM
So if you haven't gotten your package that day by 5:00 PM or so then it's likely not gonna be delivered until the next day.
