The age at which most children should stop wearing diapers during the day is around 18 months to 4 years old.

There's no set age that a child needs to be potty trained and be out of diapers so there's no set age that a child has to stop wearing diapers.

Also when potty training I hate using pull ups because they are just pull up diapers and do not hold much urine.

You can potty train a child while they are wearing regular diapers such as pampers, huggies etc.

All you have to do is watch for signs that your child is about to pee or is peeing or pooping and then take them to the toilet and undo the tabs on the diaper.

Allow them to use the toilet and then put the diaper back on them.

Then tell them to let you know when they need to potty so you can remove the diaper.

Or teach them how to undo the tabs on the diaper to go potty.

They may need help with putting the diaper back on which is okay.

Then if the child keeps his or her diaper dry for a few weeks or a month and has no potty accidents in the diaper then they can be moved to underwear.

Some kids may need to wear diapers during the day until they are 3 or even 4 years old and some kids eventually decide on their own to stop wearing diapers and will use the toilet eventually.
