Babies can begin eating cheese when they are at least 8 months of age but some babies may not be ready to eat cheese until 10 to 12 months of age.

As long as the baby has some teeth to chew the cheese they can eat it once they are on solid foods.

Some babies may be allergic to cheese so if you notice any issues or your baby gets diarrhea or seems to have stomach pain after eating the cheese then take the baby to the doctor to get tested.

However it's usually not a serious thing if they are allergic to cheese but it's still good to get them tested.

Once babies are on solid foods and have teeth they can eat almost anything that adults and older kids eat.
