Both Liquid Soap and Bar Soap are good at cleaning your body and hands.
So whether you use Liquid Soap or Bar Soap you'll still get just as clean no matter which soap you use.
However the Liquid Soap does work better though at getting rid of bacteria and germs on your body and the germs and bacteria washes down the drain with the soap.
The main disadvantage with bar soap is that some germs can still be on the bar soap especially if you share bar soap such as for washing your hands.
When you wash your hands then you could leave some dirt and germs on that bar soap and then the other person who uses the same bar of soap may get those germs as well.
But with liquid soap the soap is shared but you're not touching the same soap directly but you are touching the bottle of soap.
I prefer to use liquid hand soap for washing hands but when taking a shower I mostly like to use bar soap but I never share it.
All my family have new bars of soap when they take a shower.
