The amount of days you can be late on your rent will depend on your lease and what it states.
Most landlords though allow you to be up to 3 to 7 days late on your rent before they send out a late payment notice for the rent.
You may also have to pay a late rent fee on top of the late rent.
If you know you're gonna be late then let the landlord know about it so they can hopefully work with you.
If you're more than 30 days late on rent then you'll likely get a pay or quit notice and then after that eviction can begin.
Usually though you have at least 3 days before you're considered late on your rent but like I said it can vary from landlord to landlord.
