When can baby eat peanut butter?

Babies should not have any peanut butter because the peanut butter can cause them to choke because of the thickness of the peanut butter.

It's not recommended to give any children under 4 years old peanut butter because of the potential choking hazard.

However if you do give a child 4 years and under some peanut butter only give them a small bite of it and not a spoonful because it can easily cause the child to choke.

I personally would never give a child under 4 any peanut butter just to prevent the risk of choking.

Peanut butter is thick and sticky and hard to swallow for children under 4 years old.
