Babies can eat buttered toast or plain toast once they reach 6 months of age and are on solid foods.

Some babies may not be ready to eat solid foods or buttered toast until 7 or 8 months of age but most babies are ready to eat solid foods including buttered toast once they reach 6 months of age.

Babies that are 6 months of age and above can eat basically anything except for foods such as nuts, raw shellfish or honey.

Most other things a baby can safely eat once they get to 6 months and above.

All babies are different in when they are ready to eat some solid foods but most babies are ready to start solids at 6 months of age.

Some babies may be ready by 5 months of age.
