Mobile homes are taxed different but yes you do pay taxes on the mobile home.
If you own land and the mobile home then you pay two separate taxes. You would pay the real estate taxes on the land and then you'd pay the personal property taxes on the mobile home.
If you just rent a lot then you just pay personal property taxes on the mobile home you own and the mobile home park owner pays the real estate taxes on the land.
