Honey is not poisonous to dogs.
Dogs can eat honey in small quantities and they will be safe.
The main problem with honey when it's fed to dogs is that the honey can sometimes contain contain the presence of botulism spores.
Those botulism spores that could sometimes be present in the honey is more harmful to puppies so avoid feeding puppies honey because they don't have the best built up immune system.
But adult dogs can usually take the honey just fine but only in small quantities.
My dogs eat some honey every once in awhile with me and they are very healthy.
