Normal blood pressure readings are anywhere from 135 over 85 and as long as your blood pressure is not above 135 over 85 then it's usually not high and could be normal for you.

Our blood pressure naturally raises and lowers throughout the day and night so it can normally change.

If your blood pressure reading gets to above 140 over 90 then it could be high and you usually need to get the blood pressure down.

If the blood pressure reading gets to 180 over 120 then you have a serious health issue and that is considered dangerous and if your blood pressure reaches 200 or above then you are at risk of a heart attack and even death if you don't get treatment.

But if your blood pressure gets to 180 over 120 then it's also a cause for concern and you should go to the emergency room or call 911 if you cannot get it down or go to a walk in clinic.
