Citrus plants do like some coffee grounds because the coffee grounds add acid to the soil which is what citrus plants like.

Citrus plants do pretty well in acidic soil and also like high N, as well as some P in the NPK mixes of soil.

Just don't put too many coffee grounds in the soil of the coffee grounds as too much acid of the soil for citrus plants as well as many other plants can kill the plant off and do more harm than good.

But adding some coffee grounds once or twice per month to the soil of the citrus plant can help the citrus plant thrive and grow better.

I use coffee grounds in my garden and flower beds where the plants like coffee grounds and acidic soil and it really helps and is a good way to dispose of the used coffee grounds.
