Baby formula lasts for as long as a year in the container as long as the container of baby formula remains sealed.

So you can used baby formula that has sat in a sealed container for 6 months to a year without any issues.

I've bought cheaper baby formula for my babies when they were babies at a grocery store that sells discount expired or about to expire foods.

The baby formula had been expired for 6 months but it was still safe for the baby and my babies have grown up healthy and never had any issues with drinking the baby formula.

But if you buy fresh baby formula powder then your baby will go through the baby formula long before it has time to expire in your pantry.

Babies drink a lot of formula so it should not have time to sit to go bad.

But eventually if the baby formula is unused the baby formula does go bad.

After opening the baby formula keep it sealed up and in a cool dry place.
