Yes memory foam can get moldy just like any other foam which is a good host for mold growth.
If you have a memory foam mattress you should check the bottom or other hidden areas of the memory foam mattress for mold.
If you notice any mold you can usually get rid of the mold on the memory foam mattress if the mold is not too much.
If the bottom of the memory foam mattress or any other part of the memory foam mattress is covered in mold then it would be best to throw the memory foam mattress out and get a new mattress.
But if the mold is just a little bit on the memory foam mattress then you can usually remove it.
To get rid of mold on memory foam mattresses or any other memory foam mix equal amounts of rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) and warm water in a disposable container.
Then spray the mold and allow it to sit for awhile.
Then use a cloth rag to rinse the area with some warm water and it the mold should come off and out.
If not then mix some rubbing alcohol or vinegar into an upholstery cleaning machine and use the upholstery cleaning machine to suck out the mold and clean the memory foam mattress.
If you create airspace between the bottom of the memory foam mattress and the bed frame then air can circulate through and around the mattress which prevents mold growth on the memory foam mattress.
