It's very natural for some puppies to be jerks to you just like some humans can be jerks to you.
The only real way to stop the puppy from being a jerk to you is to train the puppy to not be a jerk anymore.
Sometimes taking the puppy to a puppy school to get the dog to stop being a jerk is the only way and sometimes you can get the puppy to stop being a jerk to you at home.
I had a puppy that was a jerk to me and my family until it got to be an adult dog and then after that it naturally grew out of being a jerk.
However not all puppies will stop being jerks when they grow up to be adult dogs but some do.
If the puppy is being a jerk and doing bad behavior you can roll up a newspaper and swat their bottom lightly or use a spray bottle of water.
The dog will not like the spray bottle of water or the newspaper and eventually all you should have to do is just show them either the spray bottle or a newspaper and they will stop the bad behavior.
