No the sun is unable to support life because the intense radiation from the powerful sun would be fatal near almost instantly for anyone trying to land on the sun.
So you would not want to live on the sun even if it were possible because the intense radiation would be terrible even if it were not fatal.
The earth is a safe distance away from the sun for the earth to support life without the sun harming us unless we stare at the sun which it can lead to blindness.
And also skin cancer can develop from too many sunburns but the sun is healthy for us when we do get some sun because being out in the sun helps boost our bodies immune system and makes us much happier due to the Vitamins that the sun gives us.
