For some people 80 F would be considered too hot inside a house and for some people it would be considered just right.
The temperature being comfortable can also depend on whether or not it's winter out or it's summer outside.
For example in the winter time when the weather is cold outside the temperature of 80 F in my house would be very very comfortable and not too hot.
But in the summertime with the high humidity the 80 F temperature would be too hot for me and the A/C would need to be on.
So the outside temperature can affect whether or not the temperature inside the house would be comfortable.
