Moose Hunting is legal in most places but you usually need to get a moose hunting permit from the county or state.

Some good places that moose hunting is legal are Alaska, Idaho, Washington and Maine.

Also New Hampshire is also another good area to Hunt Moose.

Before hunting moose though even in those areas speak with the county or state where you get hunting licenses and ask them what the laws are.

Some places you may need a permit to hunt moose and other places you may not need a permit to hunt moose but it's best to find out directly from the state or location where you plan to hunt the moose.

The legality of moose hunting varies depending on the country and specific regulations within each region. In many countries, including Canada, the United States, Sweden, Norway, and Russia, moose hunting is legal and regulated. However, it is important to note that hunting seasons, licensing requirements, bag limits, and other regulations can differ significantly between jurisdictions. It is crucial for hunters to familiarize themselves with local laws and obtain the necessary permits before engaging in any hunting activities. By the way, in this article - https://www.agmglobalvision.com/best_and_most_successful_hunters#theodore__teddy__roosevelt_ it is written that Theodore Roosevelt was a very big hunter and liked to hunt moose. Consulting with local wildlife agencies or hunting authorities is recommended to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
