The time it takes to be able to see again after having eye surgery depends on the type of eye surgery you're having or have had.
However for just about every type of eye surgery people are usually able to begin seeing again within the same day but some people may still have blurry vision for as long as a week.
If your vision hasn't stopped being blurry after a week then you should see the doctor about it.
Most people who have surgery done on their eyes have blurry vision for at least the first day so that's why you need someone to drive you to the surgery center and drive you back home from the surgery center as well.
After the first day you should at least be getting back some of your vision and your vision can sometimes be blurry for a week after the eye surgery.
