Pet health insurance can be worth the cost to cover potential things such as surgery for the pet or something such as dialysis etc.

But for routine vet visits including shots or vaccinations the pet health insurance will not cover the cost of those things.

So for some pet health insurance can be worth it while other times it may not be worth the cost of pet health insurance.

A pets vaccinations are usually not covered by pet insurance.

Pet health insurance unlike human health insurance doesn't work the same way so it doesn't cover the cost of vet visits or vaccinations for the pet.

If you want to get your pet vaccinated for something or take them to the vet for a checkup then you need to pay for the cost out of pocket.

Actually even when the pet health insurance covers the procedure for the pet you still usually have to pay out of pocket or at least a deductible for the procedure at the vet.

Then the pet insurance reimburses you.

Pet health insurance usually covers things such as pet dialysis, surgery and other health issues that are not pre existing.
