Cloth diapers are usually much better at containing poop especially if your baby has diarrhea or a blowout in disposable diapers.

But cloth diapers do tend to leak urine more than disposable diapers do and also the cloth diapers keep the skin wet unlike disposable diapers.

With disposable diapers the urine is absorbed and held away from the child's skin so they don't get rashes as much.

Cloth diapers do not need changed after every pee the baby or toddler does.

Cloth diapers do need changed more often that disposable diapers do because they don't hold the pee and wetness away from the babies or toddlers skin like the disposable diapers do.

So the baby or toddler will feel wet much more than they would if they were in disposable diapers because disposable diapers hold the pee away from the skin and absorb it better than cloth diapers do.

Most babies and toddlers who wear cloth diapers want to potty train much sooner than those who wear disposable diapers because they feel wet more than those who wear disposable diapers.

But in my opinion cloth diapers are really not that good for babies or toddlers because they feel wet and can get rashes more often than those who wear disposable diapers.

Changing cloth diapers is also a lot more work and you don't really save money on diapers when using cloth diapers because of the work involved.

Disposable diapers cost some money but it cost me at least less than $2.00 per day to buy disposable diapers for my baby.

I make more than that in a day at work and if I spent a day cleaning cloth diapers then I would loose money.
