Can stress cause chills?

Yes stress can cause chills.

When you're stressed out your body can respond by causing chills as well as other symptoms such as shivering, cold feeling or just like mentioned above plain old chills.

When you stop feeling stressed out then the chills or cold feeling should go away.

I myself experience chills when I'm feeling stressed out and when I'm no longer stressed the chills go away.

It's not good to be stressed out all the time though even though sometimes we get stressed even when we don't want too.

Being stressed out raises your blood pressure as well which is not good for your health or heart.

Too high of blood pressure can lead to heart disease, heart attacks strokes etc.
