Most times chills are a sign of the flu.
Since getting the flu shot I don't get the flu much anymore.
But when I did get the flu most times I would get the chills sometimes at the start of the flu along with body aches and then I would begin getting weaker, tired and more fatigued.
But sometimes I would get the chills after the flu set in and sometimes the chills would not come on until 4 days after getting the flu.
There are several strains of the flu virus each year and it can affect people in different ways but chills are most commonly a sign of the flu.
But I have also got chills before with the cold virus at times as well.
Chills are your bodies way of warming up your body by contracting your muscles.
