Walmart does not take personal starter checks.
I tried to use a personal starter check from my bank at Walmart and they said that they could no accept it because my name and address was not on the check.
They said anybody could be writing out the check on someone and they require ID to match up with the check you're writing to them.
Even though they run the check through the machine right away they still require your name and address to be on the check.
Walmart does accept regular checks though but not starter checks.
