Driving in a few inches of snow is usually no problem for most people and for most front wheel drive cars or 2 wheel drive trucks or other vehicles.

But if you get a foot or more of snow then it becomes harder to drive in the snow for some vehicles and some people.

Now if you get 5 feet or more of snow then you certainly should not venture out and drive on it unless you have snow chains and 4 wheel drive and need to drive in it.

If you don't need to drive in the snow or ice then stay home or stay put where you are to avoid getting into a wreck or stranded out in the snow on the road.

I only travel in snow of less than a foot and anymore than that I stay home and call in too work and tell them I can't get out.

It's not worth the risk of getting stranded or having a car accident.
