The pain associated with ice pick headaches usually last a few seconds to 1 minute at most.
The ice pick headaches can happen at anytime without warning and can happen during the day or when sleeping and they can be painful.
I will sometimes get ice pick headaches several times through the day but thankfully the pain associated with those painful ice pick headaches only last at most a minute when they do happen.
