Why is my car stalling while driving?

My car was running fine until today when it started to stall while driving down the road.

It would drive and run fine for about 10 miles then when I stop at a stoplight and get ready to take off from the stop light the cars engine stalls?

It's starts right back up but stalls and I have to keep my foot lightly on the gas pedal.

It's possible your fuel pump might be going out. A fuel pump can get weaker and not produce enough fuel pressure overtime to keep the engine running.

Another possible cause could be coolant temp sensor going bad or a loose wire on your battery cable ends that power the fuel pump.

Have your fuel pressure checked by a mechanic to be sure it's not a fuel pump problem.
