Yes bad teeth in a dog can cause health problems in dogs if the bad teeth are not taken care of.

The bad teeth can lead to tooth infections that then lead to periodontal disease and when that dogs periodontal disease is left untreated the dog can die eventually.

The periodontal disease can lead to infections in the dogs blood which can cause heart disease, heart attacks etc and then the dog died.

You should give your dog treats that help to keep the dogs teeth clean and also brush the dogs teeth using some dog toothpaste or baking soda and water paste.

Keeping the dogs teeth can go a long way to keep the dog from developing periodontal disease and tooth infections.
