Does a biopsy hurt?

No a needle biopsy does not hurt.

When I went in for a needle biopsy the doctor performing the needle biopsy numbed the area first before the needle went in so all I really felt was a slight tingle.

I thought it was gonna be more painful but it was not that bad at all.

It's not a very invasive procedure and doesn't take very long until it's over with.

Then within a week or so you get the needle biopsy test results back.

If you haven't got the test results back within a week from the needle biopsy procedure you should call the doctor and find out.
