Some mice will learn to avoid glue traps if the mouse sees other mice stuck on the glue trap and then the mouse will learn that those glue traps are to be avoided.
But if you remove the glue traps with the mouse or mice on them then they will not usually know that the glue trap is bad.
To lure some mice to the glue traps you should put some food such as a small piece of cheese, bread etc onto the glue trap so that the mouse is attracted to the food and then gets stuck on the glue trap.
I've seen a few mice that have wanted to avoid the glue traps and even the snap traps because the mouse saw other dead mice on them.
So if you use mice traps including the snap traps and glue traps remove the dead mouse as soon as possible.
