No a human cannot live without a head.
The human needs food and water to stay alive so they need the head to eat food and drink water to stay alive.
The human also needs the brain in the head to live as well as the blood vessels etc to thrive because without the brain the body cannot be controlled.
The brain gets oxygenated blood from the heart and if the brain doesn't get oxygenated blood or oxygen it will die and the person will die eventually.
There have been cases of severed cut off heads such as in a car accident where the head was still partially alive as the eyes were blinking and the mouth was moving a bit as well.
A friend who was a fire fighter told me of that and it freaked him out but it does happen.
However the head will die soon after it's cut off though and the rest of the body will be dead as well.
