Flickering lights can be dangerous depending on what is causing the flickering lights to begin with.

Sometimes the flickering lights could be a light bulb that is loose in the light socket and just tightening the bulb can solve the issue.

Other times you might have a bad LED bulb or a lose wire to the light fixture or a at the light switch or the light switch itself could be bad.

If the light switch feels loose when you turn the light on or off then it could be the light switch or a lose connection somewhere.

Sometimes there might be another appliance or other electricity user that causes the lights to dim and then flicker.

My washing machine causes my kitchen lights to flicker while it's on due to the magnetic field in the motor.

So that could be it as well if the washing machine is on at the time your lights are flickering.

If not you need to check the wire connections or replace the light fixture as well.

Or have an electrician check the issue out because lights flickering is usually not normal and could be caused by something that could lead to a house fire.

Loose wire connections can heat up and cause house fires so get it checked out to be sure.
