It's estimated that between 85 to 90 percent of people who use tanning beds for tans get cancer years later as a result of using a tanning bed.

Tans from tanning beds are nice but tanning beds really are not very safe at all and can increase your risk of getting cancer.

I would rather not have the cancer instead of a tan.

If you want a tan it's best and more safe to get a natural tan outside than laying in a tanning bed being exposed to those very harmful UV rays.

Using a tanning bed before age 24 increases one's risk of developing basal cell carcinoma by age 50.

If you do want to use a tanning bed you must remember those risks and I would not go very often to a tanning bed session.

Once every few weeks or once per month is good enough but if you go more often to the tanning bed you increase your risk of developing skin cancer.
