When you go into the hospital and have robotic surgery performed on you there is really no pain associated with the robotic surgery just like non robotic surgery done by surgeons hands.

You're under anesthetics and are asleep during robotic surgery so you should not feel any pain at all or even be aware of what surgery is being done to you at the time.

When you wake up though after the surgery you may experience some pain during recovery after the robotic surgery but during the surgery itself there should be no pain.

I've had robotic surgery done to me and I didn't feel a thing until a few hours after the surgery when the anesthetic started wearing off.

The pain lasted for a few days and then went away.

The surgeons who operate the consoles for the robot surgery say they have pain in their wrists and hands but the patient should not feel any pain.
