When the power goes out and people lose air conditioning due to the power outage and it's extremely hot outside people can die as a result of heat stroke when they cannot get cooled off enough.
I would rather have a heat wave than a cold blast with cold weather that freezes the earth and people but heat can be deadly just like the cold can be deadly.
But if I were to die of a temperature related illness I would rather be hot and die than freezing cold and die.
