Yes chewing or crushing and aspirin and then swallowing that chewed or crushed aspirin does help to stop a heart attack.

My dad had a heart attack a few years ago and I gave him an aspirin to chew on and crush up in his mouth and then he swallowed it and it helped stop the heart attack.

But still you should call 911 when you think you or someone else is about to have a heart attack.

Still chew or crush the aspirin and swallow it and call 911 to get medical attention on the way.

The chewing or crushing of the aspirin does help with stopping a heart attack but you also should call 911 because heart attacks can come on again and you need your heart checked out and need to go to the hospital if you've had a heart attack or are about to have a heart attack.
