Ambien and Belsomra could be taken together if you are having trouble sleeping with just one of the sleep medicines.

However if you have any heart conditions or high blood pressure etc then you should avoid taking Belsomra and Ambien together as it could lead to other health issues.

Also be aware that you could experience more side effects when taking both Belsomra and Ambien together and if you do experience those side effects you should speak with your doctor.

When you take Belsomra and Ambien together some side effects that can happen are dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating.

Some people, especially the elderly, may also experience impairment in thinking, judgment, and motor coordination.

When taking Belsomra it takes Belsomra 30 minutes to take affect so you should take the Belsomra 30 minutes prior to going to bed.

Make sure you have enough time to sleep at least 7 hours after taking Belsomra and do note that the Belsomra may cause drowsiness the next day.

So you need to be cautious when driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you take Belsomra for sleep.

If your insomnia or sleep problem worsens or is not getting better within 7 to 10 days you should speak with your doctor because you might need a stronger dose of Belsomra or some other sleep medicines.

When I take Belsomra it puts me to sleep within 30 minutes of taking it and I do feel a bit drowsy in the morning after taking it.

So be aware of that.
