Can chewing ice damage teeth?

Yes chewing on ice can damage your teeth so it's not recommended to chew on ice if you want to keep your teeth healthy and in good condition.

The better way to eat ice is to just let the ice dissolve in your mouth but really that is just fluid and not food so you're not really eating ice.

But the ice is okay for you to suck on but just don't try to chew the ice if it's bigger pieces.

Small ice such as crushed ice should do no harm to your teeth if you try to chew the crushed ice but ice cubes should not be chewed on.

If you do chew on ice you can damage your teeth and cause them to crack and chip which can lead to other dental problems.
