If you were to jump from a parachute out of an airplane during a thunderstorm and it was just storming and not lightning you could survive the parachute jump through the thunderstorm.

But it would be very risky to try and jump with a parachute out of an airplane during a thunderstorm because of the potential for lightning to strike you.

Lightning finds the best path to the ground so it would seem that you would not get struck by lightning but if you're close enough to the lightning it could strike you and then strike again to the ground.

It would not be a very good idea at all to try and parachute jump through a thunderstorm unless the plane was going down and you had no other choice.

Obviously it would be much safer to jump out of the plane using a parachute during the thunderstorm when the plane is crashing than to remain in the plane and possibly end up dead as a result of the plane crash.
