No humans have actually been lost in space and remain their as of now.
But there have been people who have died while in space and then a recovery crew had to go into space and retrieve their bodies.
So the people that died in space were eventually recovered and their bodies came back to earth to be buried or cremated.
There was an account of some people in space years ago that had exploded in space due to some reason which I cannot remember exactly.
It's been years since I've heard about it.
There have also been some astronauts who have died upon reentry to the earth when in the space ship and I cannot remember if they got their bodies or not.
But I think the spaceship returned to earth and their remains may have been scattered about the earth and they got at least part of their bodies.
