The Apple Iphone is so expensive because Apple designs the phones and programs the software and everything else on the phone.
Also Iphones cost a lot less to make then what they actually sell for and Apple knows that people will pay the high price for the Iphone because they want to have the latest and greatest and follow trends.
I had an Iphone and I could not really see much reason for the price and sold it and got an android phone which was more than good enough for my use.
However some people prefer to have the Iphone and that's okay if that's what they want and can afford it.
Apple though is making it harder for people to fix their Iphones and claims that they can never get their data back from a phone or tablet that has suffered damage.
However other people have proved them wrong and got the information and data back for them.
