Being able to forget the past and move on and forget about bad things that have happened to you can be hard.
It's not real easy to forget things in the past and move on but sometimes it can be done.
What I've done to forget bad things in the past and move on is to start thinking about my future and try to work on good things and think good thoughts.
Eventually the past bad thoughts should leave your mind but sometimes people experience things so bad that they have a hard time forgetting about it.
Try setting goals for new things that you want to accomplish and focus on those goals.
Basically you need to write those memories over in your brain so thinking of new good things can sometimes push those bad memories out or at least further back in your mind.
If all else fails you may need to see a therapist and talk to them and they can sometimes help people get rid of bad memories.
