The time it takes for a spaceship to get from earth to the moon is 3 days which is pretty fast.

The distance from the earth to the moon is 240,000 miles which is a long way away.

Although 3 days might seem like a long time for a spaceship to reach the moon from the earth it would take even longer if you were able to drive your car from the earth to the moon.

At a distance of 240,000 miles it would take you around 300 days with driving non stop and completing 800 miles per day of driving to drive the 240,000 miles.

But driving 240,000 miles would get you really tired and you'd likely want to stop and rest for a few days before going any further.

So you would probably take at least 365 days which is a year to drive the 240,000 miles to the moon or anywhere else for that matter.

Most people put around 10,000 to 15,000 miles per year on their vehicle unless they drive long distances and if you drove 800 miles per day everyday then you would drive the 240,000 miles in one year.
