A newborn babies bladder is very small and can only hold a little bit of urine so it's normal for a newborn to empty their bladder very often.

A newborn baby should can pee between 10 to 20 times per day.

As long as the newborn has at least 6 wet diapers per day they are hydrated enough but if the newborn has fewer than 6 wet diapers per day then they may be dehydrated.

The wet diapers should be soaking wet when the newborn is peeing enough.

Some newborn babies go through 10 to 12 diapers per day while others may only go through 6 to 8 wet diapers per day.

It all depends on the baby but as long as you're seeing at least 6 wet diapers per day the baby is okay.

Any less than 6 wet diapers per day then I would take the baby to urgent care or the emergency room just to be safe.
