Yes going on the Ketogenic or Keto diet can help prevent the flu and protect your body from the flu virus.

Research has show that when you go on the Keto diet your body is protected from the flu virus because your body burns fat to produce ketone bodies from the food that you eat.

That results in your bodies immune system being fueled and boosted which helps your body get rid of the flu virus.

The Keto diet can also help you lose weight and help detox your body when you do it correctly so it's a win, win situation as long as you do it in the healthy way.

Exercising and staying hydrated with water and plenty of other healthy drinks and eating healthy as well as getting plenty of rest and increasing your Vitamin C intake can also help protect your body against the flu.

It's also a good idea to get a flu shot well before the flu happens so that you can be protected.

The flu can sometimes kill people if it gets serious enough so you need to try to stay healthy and prevent the flu.

Wash your hands often using antibacterial soap and water as hot as you can safely stand it.
