Can you drink your own blood?

No you cannot safely drink your own blood or anyone else's for that matter.

If you do drink your own blood or someone else's blood then you can die a short time later and the more blood you drink the sooner you'll die as a result of drinking the blood.

If you just lick a little blood it's likely to not cause any serious health issues but you may get a stomach ache because the human body cannot digest human blood.

Blood contains iron and humans do not have the iron-extracting mechanism required to digest any human blood so you should be prepared to die if you drink any amount of human blood including your own and other peoples.

Drinking blood of your own or any other humans blood is not a good idea at all and I wouldn't want to drink it anyway.
