In weather a blizzard and a squall are almost the same thing and means intense snow.
When a squall is happening it's basically the same as a blizzard but is more localized and in certain times and locations and may or may not be a significant amount of snow.
A blizzard is a a snow storm with sustained winds or frequent gusts that are greater than or equal to 56 km/h (35 mph) with blowing or drifting snow which reduces visibility to 400 m or 0.25 mi or less and will last for a prolonged period of time which is typically three hours or more.
The snow squall in weather is also a sudden moderately heavy snowfall and heavy and strong, gusty surface winds.
