Yes eating cottage cheese when trying to lose belly fat or just trying to lose weight in general is a good option.

The cottage cheese is low in calories but can help you feel full so you'll eat less food that has higher calories and when you eat less you burn belly fat including other fat.

Exercise is also required though to help you lose more belly fat and burn fat overall as well and the more exercise you get along with eating the cottage cheese will help you lose that belly fat.

Exercise is also good for your health as well and your heart health will improve, your energy will improve and you'll likely prevent yourself from being in a wheelchair.

Being overweight is bad for your heart as well as your heart as to pump more to keep you alive and give you energy.
