Diaper rash is very painful and can cause sleepless nights for both the child who has the diaper rash and the parents.

Babies or toddlers who have diaper rash may cry or whine during the night and barely get any sleep because the diaper rash hurts.

If your baby or toddler has diaper rash you should try to let their bottom air out for 20 to 30 minutes per day and use some diaper rash cream after every diaper change.

Also you can use some Vaseline to help keep moisture away from the child's skin as the Vaseline will create a barrier and not allow the urine to come into contact with the child's skin.

Be sure to change your baby or toddlers diaper often and every 2 to 3 hours would be a good time frame to change diapers.

If the kid has pooped their diaper change that diaper within 5 to 10 minutes of noticing.

But if the toddler or baby is asleep you can let them sleep in the poop diaper as long as you apply diaper rash cream or Vaseline to the kids bottom.

Make sure you wipe the child's bottom and entire diaper area that came into contact with pee to prevent it from causing a rash.
